Terms and Conditions

1. Scope of Services

Tutor Nest UK provides online English tuition services for Key Stage 3 (KS3) students in Years 7–9. All lessons are delivered online via       secure video conferencing platforms. We do not offer in-person tuition. Our services are designed to support students with reading,    writing, grammar, comprehension, and exam preparation.

2. Booking and Payment Terms

All tuition enquiries should be submitted via our website or by email to info@tutor-nest.co.uk. Pricing information is provided upon       enquiry and is tailored to individual requirements.

• Payment is required in advance of each lesson or block of lessons, as agreed.
• Payment methods accepted will be confirmed at the time of booking.
• An invoice or receipt will be provided upon request.

3. Cancellations and Rescheduling

• Cancellations must be made at least 24 hours before the scheduled lesson to receive a full refund or rescheduled session.
• Cancellations made with less than 24 hours' notice may not be refunded or rescheduled, except in exceptional circumstances.
• Tutor Nest UK reserves the right to cancel or reschedule lessons due to illness or unforeseen circumstances. In such cases, a full    refund or rescheduled session will be offered.

4. Tutor Responsibilities

Tutor Nest UK commits to:

• Providing high-quality, professional online tuition tailored to the student's needs.
• Preparing appropriate lesson content and resources.
• Maintaining punctuality and reliability for all scheduled sessions.
• Communicating clearly with parents/carers regarding progress and any concerns.
• Upholding safeguarding responsibilities at all times.

5. Student and Parent Responsibilities

Students and parents/carers agree to:

• Ensure the student is ready and available at the scheduled lesson time.
• Provide a quiet, suitable space for online learning with a stable internet connection.
• Communicate any concerns, changes, or cancellations in a timely manner.
• Support the student's learning by encouraging engagement with any assigned tasks or homework.
• Ensure respectful and appropriate behaviour during lessons.

6. Acceptable Use and Behaviour

All parties are expected to behave respectfully and professionally during lessons. Tutor Nest UK reserves the right to suspend or discontinue services if behaviour is deemed inappropriate, disruptive, or in breach of safeguarding expectations.

7. Limitation of Liability

Tutor Nest UK provides tuition support only and does not guarantee specific academic outcomes or examination results. While every      effort is made to support student progress, responsibility for academic achievement remains with the student and their school. Tutor Nest UK is not liable for any indirect or consequential losses arising from the use of our services.

8. Intellectual Property

All lesson materials, resources, and content provided by Tutor Nest UK remain the intellectual property of Tutor Nest UK. Materials may not be copied, shared, or distributed without prior written consent.

9. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising from these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
